Narangas ella(waterfall) & anagimala ella are two picturesque waterfalls, each originating from a tributary of nannikita ella which feeds Ginganga at a lower elevation . Both nature trails begin at the same point and continue along the old logging trail for about 2.2 km before diverging into two separate trails. The narangas ella trail continues further along the old logging rout for about 1.5 km, before traversing through the jungle for another 1.5 km. The Anagimala ella trail falls along a footpath from the 2.2 km. point on the old logging trail and continues through the jungle for another 300m. Observation points 1 to 7 are on the once well-tarred old logging road and are common to both trails.
This is the main water fall located in Kanneliya. That was a higher water fall and there are many layers.This is actively in April, May, June months.It was normal and lack of water in other season.You can visit beautiful locations and views to go here.You have to go down 200 m to visit this place from main trail.
This is the secondary waterfall in Kanneliya forest . But this is the better waterfall rather than Anagimala.. This trail located through the forest but it is sweet hard and will be fantastic way.You should to go about 2.5 Km from main gate to visit this waterfall.It is higher than Anagimala waterfall too.It is located in middle of forest. This area is very cold place. You will see some wild animals when you visit this.
When you going to visit this waterfall you will visit a Ancient big tree and 200 years old tree (Puss wela).
